See Tolkien's Rivendell brought to life with more than 200,000 LEGO bricks

What do you get when you mix LEGO with The Lord of the Rings? Could it be sheer perfection?

Mind-blowingly talented artist Alice Finch—with the help of fellow mind-blowing creator David Frank—built their very own version of Lord Elrond’s domain of Rivendell.

This amazing Middle-earth creation, inspired by The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring and the most recent The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, is made up of more than 200,000 LEGO bricks! It was shown during last October’s BrickCon, which took place in Seattle, where it was given—and justly so—the People’s Choice Award.

You can see the fantastic details in these amazing pics below. And lookie there! It even lights up!
