Snippets and scenes have been leaking out from that long-lost Return of the Jedi LaserDisc the past few weeks, but now Star Wars completists can check out all 30 minutes of behind-the-scenes footage in one glorious clip.
Hardcore Star Wars fan Charlie Owen managed to get his hands on a LaserDisc of extra footage from the film, including alternate shots and a boatload of behind-the-scenes footage. He’s been releasing excerpts via a Facebook page, but has now uploaded the entire mother lode of footage into one clip.
So what do we see? Mostly a ton of footage from Luke and Yoda’s time on Dagobah, including some alternate takes that are very different than the scenes fans know and love. It’s a weird little footnote in Star Wars lore, but well worth remembering while we wait for Episode VII in late 2015.
Check out the clip above and let us know what you think.
