TV THIS WEEK: Almost Human premieres, the Governor returns + more!

Almost Human cast

He's baaaack! We finally got an oh-so-brief look at the Governor last week, which means more Governor ahead on The Walking Dead. And J.J. Abrams and J.H. Wyman's futuristic procedural, Almost Human, gets a supersized two-night series premiere.

Also this week, John Cho returns to freak out Sleepy Hollow, Cat has a run-in with her father on Beauty and the Beast, the agents tackle Level 8 clearance on Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Klaus and his sibs are none too happy about Hayley's kidnapping on The Originals, Caleb meets a relative on Ravenswood, Castiel gets a job on Supernatural, the top 20 makeups of the series are counted down on a special Face Off, a three-episode arc begins on Person of Interest, Penn & Teller get naked (not really ...  well, probably not really) on Naked Vegas, Oliver and the crew head to Russia to hunt down Deadshot on Arrow, a new breakout is discovered on The Tomorrow People, and a dark spirit haunts the academy on American Horror Story: Coven.

And Sheldon forces Leonard to walk a mile in his sweater on The Big Bang Theory, the Red Queen's ascension is explored on Once Upon a Time in Wonderland, Stefan gets his memories back on The Vampire Diaries, Holmes may have to return to London on Elementary, a Wesen mermaid strikes on Grimm, Grayson goes up against Lady Jayne on Dracula, Audry gets a look at a Trouble-free Haven on Haven, William Hurt stars in the Science Channel's The Challenger Disaster, it's the final effort to save Henry on Once Upon a Time, and a shocking revelation is exposed on Witches of East End.

John Cho alert! Abbie has a run-in with Cho's freaky Andy Brooks. Meanwhile, Ichabod and Abbie try figure out a puzzle of mysterious clues to save Sleepy Hollow from Headless.

Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (ABC) 8 p.m. - “The Hub”

Get ready for Level 8! Agent Coulson and his team tackle a highly classified mission that endangers Ward and Fitz.

The Originals (The CW) 8 p.m. - “Bloodletting”

Hayley is kidnapped leaving the Originals in a cranky mood. Meanwhile, Klaus must deal with a dangerous unexpected visitor, and Marcel makes Rebekah an offer she may not be able to refuse.

Ravenswood (ABC Family) 8 p.m. - “The Devil Has a Face”

Caleb has a run-in with a relative who may shed some light on what's going on in Ravenswood. Meanwhile, Olivia and Miranda find a link between their families, and Luke tries to find a diversion.

Supernatural (The CW) 9 p.m. - “Heaven Can't Wait”

Castiel takes a job at a Gas-N-Sip, and begins to appreciate human life, at least until he notices mysterious disappearances and calls Dean. Meanwhile, Sam and Kevin work on the tablet, and Crowley agrees to help them ... for the cost of one phone call to hell. Now, that just sounds like a really, really bad deal to make.

Face Off (Syfy) 9 p.m. - “Top 20 Countdown – Judges' Favorites”

Special episode! The judges dig into the last five seasons and select 20 of their favorite makeups, from the funniest to the scariest to the most noteworthy designs.

Person of Interest (CBS) 10 p.m. - “Endgame”

A three-episode event begins! A hero will fall, according to the previews, as Detective Fusco finds himself in a difficult situation. Meanwhile, Finch gets 38 numbers at once which have something to do with a conflict involving HR and the Russian mob.

Naked Vegas (Syfy) 10 p.m. - “Penn & Teller Painted Magic”

Penn & Teller alert! The funny guys enlist the help of Naked Vegas to paint five psychic contortionists as playing cards. Of course, they do. And the artists take on a camouflage challenge at the Golden Gate Hotel requiring them to paint models that blend in with the background of a high-limit room.

Revolution (NBC) 8 p.m. - “Come Blow Your Horn”

To save Aaron from Horn and the Patriots, Rachel puts together a desperate plan. Meanwhile, Rachel tries to figure out how to forgive her father, and Neville makes a risky move against the Patriots.

On the Travel Channel's season-eight finale of Ghost Adventures (9 p.m.), the guys take on ghosts of the Civil War as they investigate a former battlefield that had over 7600 casualties and the John Dye House, a one-time military hospital in “Battle of Perryville: Field Hospitals.” And on the channel's The Dead Files Revisited (10 p.m.), Steve and Amy update past investigations in Flint, Mich., and Fort Wayne, Ind., in “Battlefield & Violated.”

Saturday, Nov. 16

The Challenger Disaster (Science Channel and Discovery) 9 p.m.

Airing on both networks simultaneously, this original TV movie stars Academy Award winner William Hurt as Nobel Prize-winning scientist Dr. Richard Feynman, who dug for the truth regarding the cause of the 1986 Challenger space-shuttle explosion. The film also stars Bruce Greenwood and Brian Dennehy.

On the Cartoon Network, there's new episodes on Ben 10: Omniverse (9:30 a.m.) and Teen Titans Go! (10 a.m.). And on LMN's Celebrity Ghost Stories (9 p.m.), the stories come from Jim Norton, Penny Johnson, Peter Scolari and Steven Williams. Then on the channel's The Haunting Of... (10 p.m.), singer Kim Carnes returns to a Franklin, Tenn., farmhouse, where she had a ghostly experience in her past.

Sunday, Nov. 17

Almost Human (Fox) 8 p.m. - “Pilot”

Part one of the two-night series premiere! In this new series from Star Trek's J.J. Abrams and Fringe's J.H. Wyman, it's 2048 in Los Angeles and veteran cop John Kennex returns to the force after a devastating attack that left him in a coma for months. Due to a mandate that he partner up with a robot cop, he ends up with a slightly off-kilter android named Dorian. The series stars Karl Urban (Star Trek) as Kennex, Michael Ealy as Dorian and Lili Taylor as Capt. Sandra Maldonado. Part two of the premiere airs on Monday at 8, in the show's regular timeslot.

As the Save Henry band makes their final assault, more than Henry's life rides on the outcome.

The Walking Dead (AMC) 9 p.m. - “Live Bait”

Big Bad alert! If you saw last week's episode, we discovered in the last seconds of the show that the Governor is indeed back. Meanwhile, the survivors clean up the mess from the last few episodes as they face continuing threats. And we're guessing we'll find out how Daryl and Tyreese take the news of Rick's banishment of Carol.

Afterward, you can catch Talking Dead at 10 p.m. with host Chris Hardwick chatting up all the episode's developments with guest stars from the series and other non-Walking Dead superfan stars.

Witches of East End (Lifetime) 10 p.m. - “Unburied”
