Guys build Lord of the Rings' Battle of Helms Deep out of 150,000 LEGOs

You remember the Battle of Helm’s deep from The Two Towers? You know, arguably one of the most epic set pieces in the history of film? Well, it’s even cooler with LEGOs.

LEGO pros Goel Kim and Big J spent more than a year planning this gigantic diorama, and it took the duo approximately six months to put it together. The epic battle features 150,000 LEGO bricks, along with a mind-boggling 2,000 mini-figures to fill up the armies on both sides. Whoa. From head-to-head fights to the battalions of archers and orcs, it’s truly a sight to behold.

Hey, put this alongside that rendition of Minas Tirith made out of matchsticks, and you'd have one hell of a playset.

Check out a few shots of the project below, then head over to MOCPages to see a ton more photos showing all the epic detail.
