Bill and Ted meet Superman in most uncomfortable Halloween special ever

Bill and Ted are about to go on a Wizard-of-Oz-esque journey with Superman (and others). Sound awesome? It really isn't.

Universal Studios Hollywood has, apparently, laid a bit of an egg this Halloween season. They're hosting a live show called Bill and Ted's Excellent Halloween Adventure and, whatever you think it's about, you are 100 percent wrong.

The plot goes thusly -- Bill and Ted get sucked into Oz (yup, that one) by a tornado that is actually the ghost of recently deceased Glee star Cory Monteith. How do they get home? Why, by killing four evil witches, naturally!

Not turned off yet? Don't worry, we're just getting warmed up.

Bill and Ted are aided in their quest by none other than Superman himself. That would make their journey very easy except, oh, no, one of the witches sprinkles Superman with fairy dust, thus turning him completely gay. And by "gay" we mean "a mincing, limp-wristed stereotype."

So gay Supes keeps trying to molest Bill and Ted (bogus), but there isn't much time for that because the starship Enterprise shows up, and it has General Zod on board for some reason. If you hoped the show would stop short of telling a "kneel before Zod joke," you will be woefully disappointed.

Not satisfied with just offending a few groups, the show then progresses along, making "Asians are short" munchkin jokes and "Nicki Minaj sure is black" humor, and wraps it all up with Wreck-It Ralph dragging Amanda Bynes away to "wreck it."

Even if you're not easily offended, the whole thing seems kind of tasteless, especially when you take into account the fact that Universal Studios Hollywood is usually very friendly with the LGBT community.
