This Walking Dead honest trailer reminds us how silly the zombie drama really is

The AMC drama about a ragtag group of zombie apocalypse survivors is pretty gritty, but it's also ridiculously over-the-top, too.

The Walking Dead just started its fourth season, and it seems like it stands a solid chance of being the endless zombie drama that Kirkman's original comic has been. But the longer you tell a story, the greater odds you face of having the quality of its narrative dip. The zombie genre especially exists mostly within the movie medium because, when you're dealing with that level of heightened, supernatural drama, it's best to get in and get out.

That doesn't mean The Walking Dead can't be great, but we would argue that it is inconsistent. And with that in mind, here's a an Honest Trailer from the gang at Screen Junkies that goes over many of the show's less-than-stellar attributes.

Once you have all the casualties from the show lined up, you'd think it'd seem gruesome. Instead it's actually unintentionally hilarious. And the trailer pretty much nails what most of us expect from the fourth season.

What do you think? Accurate? Or do the problems with The Walking Dead lie elsewhere?
