Check out the 1st official image of Man of Steel's Lois Lane

The first official image of Amy Adams as Lois Lane has us wondering what sort of news lady she'll be.

Lois Lane, to our mind, has always been one of those on-the-go reporters.  There's not a lot of sitting at a desk and waiting for a story to come.  She gets up, finds the news and, if Superman is involved, often makes the news.  With that in mind, we've got this first image of just Lois from Man of Steel, and while it may not seem like much, it sort of tells a tale of modern journalism.  Check it out.

Yes, you're seeing that right -- she has an iPad.  But before you hem and haw about product placement, it's worth noting that it's not so uncommon to see journalists dashing about with tablets nowadays.  Would Lois, though?  Hard to say.  She always seemed like the sort to eschew modern gadgetry.  But maybe that's just us.

What do you think?
