So long, Fringe! Watch the cast's moving farewell to their fans

For the brave few who stuck it out until the end, Fox’s Fringe has been a thrill ride of alternate universes and insane plot twists. Sadly, the show’s audience dwindled with each passing year, but that only made the survivors that more devoted. To thank the few million fans who came along for the whole ride, the cast has put together one final farewell for the masses.

It’s sweet, touching and a great gift to the fans. More than most shows out there, the fans took true ownership of the series, and it was that fervent devotion that kept it alive through mediocre ratings and a move to the Friday death slot. It's a bit odd for a series to do a farewell video, but for Fringe it makes perfect sense.

The Bishops have become a part of the family over the past five years, and it's nice to get a coda to that sweet closing moment in the park. Check out the sweet farewell below and say your final goodbye to the Fringe gang:

What did you think of the finale? Was it a fitting end to the ride?
