Welcome to the new Blastr

Welcome to the new Blastr. We've been hard at work upgrading everything we can think of around how you read our site, and we couldn't be more excited to finally get to share it with you.

Our brand new features include bigger, bolder images and video across all our articles, improved galleries, and a seamless experience whether you're on your phone, tablet or computer. That's not all, either; below, we'll tell you what's been done. Be sure to let us know what you think in our new commenting section, too.

Perfect For Phones, Tablets and Computers

You'll get the same great experience no matter what device you're using. Blastr now shrinks down to fit any screen, and you'll see all the same images and video as you would when browsing the site on your computer.

For returning readers, what you see around the site won't feel too alien: tags at the top of every article will still keep you tuned in on what's interesting, and we've expanded our sharing options to help you more easily pass around the stories you love.

Faster, Richer Galleries

We've optimized our galleries so that they load a lot faster — regular readers, we know you've been asking for that. We'll also be able to include larger, prettier images than ever before, and even work videos into the mix.

Navigating our galleries couldn't be easier. Sure, you can click through them like always, but now you can use the arrow keys on your keyboard as you browse, too.

More Ways to Find The Content You Want

There's a lot of of great content on Blastr, and we've made it easier for you to find the stories you care about. From now on, at the bottom of each post you'll find recommendations for up to four other articles we think you'll enjoy. We hope this new feature will bring you more stories that interest you — let us know how it works for you.

Tell Us What You Think

We knew what we wanted to do with the site, but we wanted your input, too. Now that it's here, we'd like to hear from you. In the comments below, let us know what you love and what you'd like to see done differently. All feedback will be considered.

We're not done yet, either: we'll be rolling out more improvements in the coming weeks. We've also got a brand new app coming soon. If you like what you see, stay locked on Blastr via Facebook and Twitter.
