1st look at Felicia Day's adorkable LARPing Supernatural return

We knew we hadn't seen the last of Charlie Bradbury. Felicia Day's heading back to Supernatural. The actress returns to the CW hit and gets Sam and Dean to step out of their comfort zones. Through Charlie, they're introduced to the wonderful world of LARPing (live-action role-playing).

Day reprises her role for the Jan. 23 episode, titled "LARP and the Real Girl." Isn't that clever? The last time we saw Charlie, she was leaving town after getting caught up in one of the Winchesters' many cases. But it wasn't all happily ever after for her. Trouble follows Charlie wherever she goes.

Executive producer Jeremy Carver says, "We will discover that young Charlie Bradbury, in running from her past life, has found herself a new life in a new community. Basically, [she] has fallen into the welcoming arms of a community of LARPers."

During Sam and Dean's visit, they'll investigate the deaths of two players. In order to do so, they'll go undercover as resident LARPers. Below we've got a sneak peek at the duo and their new medieval attire.

Supernatural airs Wednesdays at 9 p.m. ET/PT on The CW.
