Look which star will make a surprising return for Spider-Man 2

We still have a long way to go until we actually get to see Marc Webb's Amazing Spider-Man 2, but a new bit of casting news has revealed that a certain somebody will be making a surprising return. Spoilers ahead!

Actor Martin Sheen, who plays Uncle Ben Parker, revealed in a late-night TV interview that he will be back for the new sequel. But wait: Didn't Uncle Ben bite the dust in the first film?

Here are his comments, via Bleeding Cool:

"I'm going to be Uncle Ben in Spider-Man once again next year. We shoot it in February."
Uncle Ben's death in classic Spider-Man lore inspires Peter Parker's mission for good, so it'd be pretty shocking to have some type of retcon twist in the sequel. Most likely Sheen will be sticking around as dream or flashback, connecting back to what inspired all that crime-fighting the first time around.

What do you think? How will Uncle Ben come back?
