New NSFW John Dies at the End clip is coolest anti-piracy ad ever

Waiting for the glittery ball to drop on Times Square? Ring in the new year with a clever red-band teaser for John Dies at the End, with skull confetti and popping eyeballs galore.

Online piracy is getting to be a dangerous business, and this crazy public service clip proves it. Supposedly embedded within the digital code for Don Coscarelli's new horror comedy is a deadly curse causing all sorts of wet nastiness to befall any cinematic scofflaws.

Here's the official synopsis:

In John Dies At The End, it's all about the Soy Sauce, a drug that promises an out-of-body experience with each hit. Users drift across time and dimensions. But some who come back are no longer human. Suddenly a silent otherworldly invasion is underway, and mankind needs a hero. What it gets instead is John (Rob Mayes) and David (Chase Williamson), a pair of college dropouts who can barely hold down jobs. Can these two stop the oncoming horror in time to save humanity? No, they can't.
Witness the senseless slaughter and get ready for one of the wildest indie flicks out there:

John Dies at the End is ripe and ready to order now on iTunes or On Demand and opens in theaters Jan. 25, 2013. Can you stomach it?
