New Game of Thrones video teases new character and key scenes

It's Tuesday and this must be Game of Thrones day. Not only did we just learn that season three episodes will have longer running times, but we also got a brand-new production video which offers us an exciting glimpse at new and returning characters, as well as hints at some key scenes from book three, A Storm of Swords.

The new Making Game of Thrones video highlights the art direction for the upcoming third season. Featuring comments from art directors Heather Greenlees and Tom Still and location manager Robert Boake. The new video also offers us a glimpse of new character Jojen Reed (Thomas Brodie-Sangster) and a few more familiar returning faces.

Not only that, but we also get a very cool first look at a new inner courtyard for the Red Keep in King's Landing.

As for the key scenes, we won't reveal too much here in order not to spoil those of you who haven't read the books, but let's just say we have hints at two major fight scenes. And that's all we're willing to say.

Have a look!

How do you like the new set piece? Do you think those two fight scenes that were hinted at here will be awesome? Are you excited about the upcoming third season of HBO's Game of Thrones?

Game of Thrones season three returns on March 31, 2013.
