HBO has just previewed its 2012 year-ender promo video, and with it we've got a few more cool new glimpses at what's coming up for Game of Thrones' third season.

The new video is mostly about what we saw in 2012, but HBO has wrapped a nice shiny little present with a big red metaphorical bow by showing us a few more scenes from the highly anticipated third season of Game of Thrones (as well as some True Blood added to the sci-fi/fantasy mix).

It's nothing too earth-shattering, or even too spoilery, but what we saw was jaw-droppingly awesome.

We don't know about you, but that first glimpse of Daenerys (Emelia Clarke) in front of her army of Unsullied looks freaking epic to us!

Plus we get a few more glimpses at Tyrion's (the always amazing Peter Dinklage) new facial scar, which doesn't look as gruesome as its A Song of Ice and Fire book counterpart.

Game of Thrones season three will air March 31, 2013. In the meanwhile, you can have a tantalizing first look at all the new (and returning) characters you'll see in the upcoming third season here.
