Comic/web series Chopper rolls into production as a feature film

A year ago, Asylum Press put out a funky comic titled Chopper that reimagined the Sleepy Hollow myth in '80s-stylized horror and starring a headless motorcyclist. Fast-forward to now, and that ambitious idea is headed for the big screen.

With nine webisodes already under their belt to serve as a prequel, marketing agency Dilemma is hoping to begin production in mid-2013. So far, actors Tyler Mane and Andrew Bryniarski are attached to reprise their roles from the web series, and the feature will be written by the comic's author, Martin Shapiro.
