Kirkman teases another comics character joining Walking Dead S3

Season three of The Walking Dead isn't letting up. After introducing the Governor, Michonne, Axel, even Penny, the producers are bringing on another familiar face.

Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman tells EW that a new character will appear in the fall finale. He wouldn't reveal the name but teased, "A big deal fan favorite from the comic book is introduced into the show in this episode, so be on the lookout for that." Viewers have been clamoring for the introduction of Tyreese, so maybe he's the one?

Apparently Chad Coleman, who's previously appeared on The Wire, has been spotted near The Walking Dead's Atlanta set. He's a talented actor and would definitely fit the bill for a live-action Tyreese. But Kirkman's remaining silent on the matter. He says "I don't know, man! I don't know. I got no clue!" Of course he knows, he's just not telling us.

It would make sense to bring Tyreese on board. In the comic, he has a connection with both Michonne and Carol. Maybe that's where Carol is? On the show, her body's yet to be found. And judging by the preview for next week, Daryl finds her knife. The possibilities are endless.

The mystery character makes their AMC debut during the Dec. 2 episode.

What are your theories? Who's next to make the leap from page to screen?
