Walking Dead cast mourns Sunday's tragic loss in funny tribute vid

If you didn't catch the season-three premiere of The Walking Dead, then BOY HOWDY, did you miss out on some huge happenings. Did you know that there was a major loss? Which means MAJOR SPOILERS AHEAD, because the cast and crew made a special video to get their feelings out there and you kind of have to see it to believe it.

[Once more ... spoilers ahead!]

We are, of course, talking about the terrible, hold-yourself-in-a-fetal-position death ... of Hershel's leg.

But what got us to this catastrophic loss? Was it behind-the-scenes shenanigans? Conflict between actors' ... limbs? Or was Hershel's leg just too darn pretty for TV?

"It had that corn on it ... " said actor Steven Yeun of the fallen extremity as he tried his best to comfort an openly sobbing Lauren Cohan.

From the opposing end, creator Robert Kirkman unabashedly confessed that, of the two legs, that one was his "least favorite." He even went so far as to say, "Good riddance."

But perhaps most horrifying of all was the suggestion of a "BBQ" by lead Andrew Lincoln. Unless of course you count that IronE Singleton seems to have eaten it already.
