TV THIS WEEK: Sam and Dean reunite on Supernatural, WH13 and more!

Supernatural premieres its eighth season with Sam and Dean getting reunited as they get one whopper of a mission for the season, and BBC America's spook-fest Bedlam comes back for a second season with a mostly new cast. Meanwhile, Warehouse 13 signs off with a midseason finale.

Also this week, the team reels from a tragedy on Alphas, Mark Pellegrino guest-stars on Revolution, the contestants are inspired by kids' drawings on Face Off, The Neighbors go to the mall, the Ghost Hunters check out Fort Ontario in New York, the Captain and crew find themselves facing formidable odds on Last Resort, Leonard gets teased by the other astronauts on The Big Bang Theory, the search for Finche continues on Person of Interest, Holmes and Watson take on a new case on Elementary, the team heads to Walter's old lab on Fringe, Monroe's ex returns on Grimm, Audrey and Nathan face a serial killer on Haven, Regina tries to get her magic back on Once Upon a Time, and Jane makes a shocking discovery while renovating an apartment on 666 Park Avenue.

Monday, Oct. 1



Alphas (Syfy) 8 p.m. - "Life After Death"

The stakes just got raised as Rosen, Hicks and the rest of the team react to Dani's murder by Parish.

Midseason finale! When one of their own is killed, Artie's obsession with the Astrolabe comes to a head. Can the team save him and themselves from the evil he created?

Mark Pellegrino guest-star alert! Nora leads Charlie and Miles to the rebel camp, while Aaron and Maggie search for Grace. Meanwhile, Danny faces off against one of Neville's men. Looks like Miles secret is about to come out.

Face Off (Syfy) 9 p.m. - "Monster Twist"

The remaining contestants are tasked with creating an original movie monster based on a sketch by a child. Meanwhile, there's one monster of a twist headed their way.

Competing production designers and their teams must create a set using futuristic android dancers as their inspiration.

The Neighbors (ABC) 8:30 p.m. - "Journey to the Center of the Mall"

New time! The Neighbors moves into its regular timeslot as the Bird-Kersees head to the mall with the Weavers, who've convinced their alien neighbors that it's time for their kids to get an education outside of Hidden Hills.

Supernatural (The CW) 9 p.m. - "We Need to Talk About Kevin"

Season-eight premiere! After a year apart, Sam and Dean reunite. But it's not as easy as just picking up where they left off after Dean's spent a year in Purgatory and Sam's worked to build a life for himself. Meanwhile, Dean's new BFF is a cocky vamp named Benny (Ty Olsson) and a new teen profit named Kevin (Osric Chau) has some info for them.

Ghost Hunters (Syfy) 9 p.m. - "Ghostly Refuge"

TAPS checks into the paranormal reports at Fort Ontario in Oswego, N.Y., which was a safe haven for Jewish refugees during World War II.

Sheldon learns a secret about Leonard and Penny, and in space, Howard gets picked on by the other astronauts.

The search for Finch continues as Reese takes on a cold case that might just have some connection to his missing friend.

The Fringe team goes to Walter's former Harvard lab seeking critical information in hopes of helping the rebellion's fight against the Observer overlords.

Monroe's ex, Angelina, returns to warn him that his relationship with Nick is putting him in danger. Meanwhile, Hank tries to learn more about the Wesen and the Captain gets a visit from someone he knows from Europe.

Haven (Syfy) 10 p.m. - "The Farmer"

Audrey and Nathan team up with a Boston cop when a murder in Haven resembles previous crimes, and they begin to suspect it might be the work of a "troubled" serial killer.

On the Bio Channel, there's a double dose of My Ghost Story: Caught on Camera (9 and 10 p.m.) involving paranormal activity at a Texas bar and a porcelain doll might be involved in strange experiences. Then on the Travel Channel on Ghost Adventures (9 p.m.) the team hunts a demonic spirit at the historic Palmer House Hotel in Sauk Centre, MN. And on the channel's The Dead Files Revisited (10 p.m.), Amy and Steve go back to a museum in an old Nevada mining town in "Blood and Gold, and Pandora's Box."




Saturday, Oct 6



Bedlam (BBC America) 9 p.m. - "The Long Drop"

Season-two premiere! The spirited series follows Ellie, who has begun seeing visions of the dead reliving, so to speak, their deaths. So Ellie tries to track down Jed, who had the same affliction. Meanwhile, the residents of Bedlam Heights continue to be haunted by the former asylum's frightening past.

Primal (Syfy) 9 p.m.

Big teeth alert! Syfy's Saturday night at the movies offers up this flick about a group of friends who battle an evil force in the wilds of Australia. When one of the girls goes skinny-dipping, it leads to her transforming into a predator with razor-sharp teeth. As the infection begins to spread, the survivors discover an ancient curse is in play and they must figure out a way to stop it.

Once Upon a Time (ABC) 8 p.m. - "We Are Both"

Regina tries to get her powers back, while David hunts for Mary Margaret and Emma. Meanwhile, in the fairy-tale world, the soon to be married Regina meets someone who has promises of magic and freedom.
