The CW's released new images from its hit drama, Arrow. They come from the upcoming episode "Legacies," which features the Royal Flush Gang, a group of criminals who have a knack for theft and violence.
In the comics, the Royal Flush Gang is known for its iconography. But don't expect them to be dressed as playing cards from head to toe. Their look's been toned down to fit the style of the show. Earlier this month, we spoke to Arrow producer Andrew Kreisberg about the group's appearance.
"I think we've come up with a really clever way to portray them. ... We think it's one of the most successful attempts at alchemy that we've performed," he said. "The Royal Flush Gang was probably the most outlandish villains from the comics, but they turned out to be our most grounded villains. The relationship that Oliver has with King, the leader of the gang, we're really proud of it."
Here's the episode synopsis:
A gang of bank robbers, dubbed The Royal Flush Gang, hits a local bank and seriously wounds an off-duty police officer during a heist. Diggle (David Ramsey) tells Oliver (Stephen Amell) he needs to deviate from his father's list and start helping the citizens of Starling City. Meanwhile, Tommy (Colin Donnell) asks Thea (Willa Holland) for relationship advice, but things get awkward when she realizes he was asking about Laurel (Katie Cassidy). Moira (Susanna Thompson) confronts Oliver about all of his recent disappearances in the middle of family functions.
"Legacies" premieres Nov. 13 at 8 p.m. on The CW.
