Grandpa and Lily Munster shape-shift in new Mockingbird Lane clip

Brace yourselves, the Munsters are moving in. This week, NBC airs its pilot-turned-Halloween-special Mockingbird Lane. And to prepare for the event, it's released a clip highlighting the clan's most bloodthirsty members.

Actress Portia de Rossi introduces the footage, which shows the family settling into their new home. While Herman and Marilyn use a traditional means of travel, Grandpa and Lily prefer the supernatural method. They choose to use rats and smoke to get from point A to B. We have to admit, we like this incarnation of their shape-shifting.

Mockingbird Lane also stars Jerry O'Connell, Eddie Izzard, Charity Wakefield and Mason Cook. The special premieres Friday at 8 p.m. on NBC.

What do you think? Will you be tuning in?
