Fox schedule: When does The Following debut + Touch return?

Fox has been playing coy with its midseason schedule up this point, but now we finally know when the second season of Kiefer Sutherland's Touch and the eagerly anticipated Kevin Bacon-led serial-killer drama The Following will debut.

According to Deadline, The Following will premiere on Monday, Jan. 21, at 9 p.m., following Bones. Starring Bacon and James Purefoy, the series has generated some positive buzz as a smart, creepy thriller.

Season two of Touch will premiere Friday, Feb. 1, at 9 p.m., taking over for our dear friend Fringe.

Touch spent much of last season on the bubble, though Fox decided at the last minute to give it a shot for another year. The series will likely be a bit retooled with the addition of an expanded cast, which will hopefully breathe some life into a cool premise that got a bit boring at times last year.

Midseason schedules are always a little tricky, but it seems like Fox is doing a solid job of coupling these two where they should "fit," with The Following following (get it?) Bones and Touch hoping to fill that Fringe-shaped hole in the schedule.

What do you think? Will you be checking either of these shows out?
