Revolution falls, Person of Interest rises + 32 other genre shows

After a big premiere week filled with a lot of big shows, we've got a full schedule to contend with. Most of the returning series took a slight hit this week, but Person of Interest stayed strong. Meanwhile Bedlam returned to the U.S. with very unimpressive numbers, and The Big Bang Theory stayed, well ... big.

Check out our chart and commentary for more on how your favorite shows are doing in Live + Same Day viewers and rating.

MONDAY

Revolution (NBC) 8.32 million viewers/3.2/8 share

10-10 revolution.jpg

Revolution took another hit in its third week on the air, losing almost 1 million viewers and two tenths of a ratings point. That's a shallower drop than last week, plus the show still won its timeslot in ratings score by more than a point. The slide might continue, but for now this show's staying strong, strong enough that NBC wants a full season.

Warehouse 13 (Syfy) : 1.62 million viewers/0.6

10-10 warehouse13.jpg

Warehouse 13 went to its midseason break with a nice boost in viewers and ratings, earning its highest demo score since August. We'll see it again in April.

Alphas (Syfy) 1.06 million viewers/0.4

10-10 alphas.jpg

Alphas held on to its ratings score but took another hit in viewers for the second-least-watched episode of the season so far. With three episodes left until the season-two finale, we'll see if it can pick up.

WEDNESDAY

Dragons: Riders of Berk (TOON)2.11 million viewers/0.4

10-10 dragons.jpg

The move to Wednesday night seems to be paying off for Dragons. It picked up a tenth of a ratings point and nearly half a million viewers this week.

The Neighbors (ABC)6.32 million viewers/1.9/5 share

10-10 the neighbors.jpg

After a very impressive premiere night, The Neighbors dropped nearly 3 million viewers and more than a full ratings point in its second week on the air. Of course, it did air shortly before a presidential debate, so that might have something to do with it. Plus it was still the highest-rated sitcom of the night, so there's no reason to write this one off yet.

Supernatural (CW)1.85 million viewers/0.8/2 share

10-10 supernatural.jpg

The presidential debate couldn't dampen Supernatural's premiere night. The veteran CW series kicked off its eighth season with the highest viewership and ratings score it's pulled in since last February, and though it came in about 100,000 viewers lighter, it tied the season-seven premiere in rating and share scores. Good news for a show trying to prove its consistency once again.

THURSDAY

The Big Bang Theory (CBS) 15.18 million viewers/4.9/16 share

10-10 big bang theory.jpg

No surprise here. The Big Bang Theory once again dominated Thursday night, beating its nearest ratings competitor (Grey's Anatomy) by 1.1 points.

Person of Interest (CBS) 14.58 million viewers/3.0/8 share

10-10 person of interest.jpg

While most premiere week shows were enduring a week-two slump, Person of Interest was actually gaining. It still finished second in its timeslot to Grey's Anatomy but picked up a tenth of a ratings point and 300,000 viewers to make it once again the second-most-watched show of the night.

Elementary (CBS) 11.13 million viewers/2.5/7 share

10-10 elementary.jpg

Elementary dipped in its second week, but still put up impressive numbers, winning its timeslot in both viewers and ratings by quite some margin. If the dip continues we might need to worry, but for now it's still safe to call this one a hit.

Last Resort (ABC) 8 million viewers/1.9/6 share

10-10 last resort.jpg

Last Resort also took a hit in viewers and ratings score in its second week on the air, and while its viewership is still solid, its ratings are among the lowest on its night. We'll have to see if ABC decides it can still hang with the rest of the Thursday shows.

Tron: Uprising (DISNEY XD)—OFF

No Tron: Uprising this week. The season finale will arrive Oct. 19.

Haven (Syfy)1.57 million viewers/0.4

10-10 haven.jpg

After a big drop in both viewers and ratings last week, Haven posted significant gains this week, though it's still a good bit removed from its season-premiere scores.

Fringe (FOX)2.98 million viewers/1.0/3 share

10-10 fringe.jpg

Fringe took a hit in its second week, but not a huge one. The slump might continue, but loyal viewers won't care. The show has a definite finale on the horizon.

Grimm (NBC)5.29 million viewers/1.6/5 share

10-10 grimm.jpg

Grimm took a very, very slight hit in viewers Friday, but it broke even in ratings, won its timeslot and finished second overall that night. Good news for a show hoping to avoid a second-season dip.

SATURDAY

Bedlam (BBC)0.15 million viewers/0.0

10-10 bedlam.jpg

Bedlam brought its second season to America Saturday, and earned absolutely dismal numbers. But before the few people who did watch it start to worry, consider a few things. One, the show first aired in the U.K. back in June, so it's quite possible (even probable) that many U.S. viewers have already seen it through other means. Two, Saturday nights are never all that good ratings-wise, unless you're talking about things like sports. And three, in the U.K. this show is still pulling in quite a few more viewers. So Bedlam isn't doomed yet.

SUNDAY

Once Upon a Time (ABC)9.84 million viewers/3.4/9 share

10-10 once upon a time.jpg

Once Upon a Time slumped in its second week back, but still finished at the top of the scripted show list in ratings Sunday (in a tie with Family Guy for top demo score). This one keeps proving to be a winner for ABC.

666 Park Avenue (ABC)4.99 million viewers/1.7/4 share

10-10 666 park avenue.jpg

After a somewhat mediocre premiere night last week 666 Park Avenue returned to a loss in both viewers and ratings. It still managed to be competitive in demo score with the other shows in its timeslot, but in viewers it wasn't even close to the CBS dramas airing at the same time. That doesn't mean it's dead (those competitive ratings scores are very important), but it is worrisome.
