4 Kick-Ass 2 set pics offer 1st look at Donald Faison's Dr. Gravity

It's still a little hard to believe that we're actually getting a sequel to to the awesome little action flick Kick-Ass, but it's happening. If you need proof, here are some of the first set pics to leak out, showing Aaron Taylor-Johnson (Kick-Ass) and new addition Donald Faison (Dr. Gravity) in action.

The new set pics definitely keep with the style of the first film, and Kick-Ass 2 looks to be even crazier with the addition of Faison, best known for his role on the long-running sitcom Scrubs.

Centering around a high school superhero, the dark action comedy is based on the comic by Mark Millar and John Romita, Jr.

Kick-Ass 2 stars Taylor-Johnson, Faison, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Jim Carrey, Lyndsy Fonseca, Yancy Butler, John Leguizamo, Lindy Booth, Andy Nyman and Olga Kurkulina.

It's slated to open June 28, 2013.

Check out the new set pics, which also show Clark Duke sporting his superhero duds as Battle Guy, below.
