Everyone is screaming in tense new Walking Dead S3 trailer

As we amble toward the third season of The Walking Dead on Oct. 14, a new trailer has been released showing some of the tense action we can expect as the survivors head toward the zombie-filled prison, and eventually the famed town of Woodbury. One thing we've noticed? There seems to be a lot of screaming.

The third season will find the show tackling some of the greatest plots from the long-running comic book it's based on, and early buzz indicate this could be the best season yet.

Ain't It Cool News critic Hercules has already seem the first two episodes of the new season, and though he hasn't spilled anything spoilery, the typically tough critic was mightily impressed with Robert Kirkman's latest:

"The next two episodes are a mammoth improvement over the last six.

Were new writers hired over the hiatus? Did AMC approve a bigger budget? Because suddenly all the dialogue telling us what we already know about everybody's feelings is gone.

All the storytelling is moving a lot faster, there are some major plot turns in the next two episodes and there's plenty of zombie mayhem."

We're definitely psyched to see what's in store. But, for now, check out the new trailer below:

What do you think? Are you looking forward to season three?
