See fan-made S.H.I.E.L.D. film starring who's who of sci-fi faves

Graphic designer Adam Levermore really, really wants a job on Joss Whedon's new S.H.I.E.L.D. series. To that end, he's created a new short film set in the Marvel universe and called in a ton of sci-fi favors to make it a true genre gem.

Levermore has created some licensed sci-fi posters in the TV and film industries, and apparently made enough contacts to pull in some famous friends to help him make his one-of-a-kind audition tape.

He roped in former Buffy the Vampire Slayer co-star Amber Benson as a S.H.I.E.L.D. agent, and Mythbusters' Grant Imahara shows up in a cameo. Behind the scenes, Eureka's Amy Berg penned the script, which is set to a soundtrack by The Walking Dead's Bear McCreary.

Awesome.

The short itself is actually pretty good, too, so hopefully Joss and company will take notice and give this guy a shot:

What do you think? Should he get the job?
