WTF is happening in these snippets of unused Prometheus posters?

Though the movie itself may have left some fans wanting, the buildup to Ridley Scott's Alien prequel Prometheus was pretty awesome, with viral content expanding the universe and unique posters setting up the creepy film to come. Turns out we haven't seen all the content that was created to promo the sci-fi epic.

Artist Mike Weihs, who created some of the cooler promo posters for the film (including the one above), has taken to his personal Dribbble account to leak some sneak peeks at prints that didn't make the cut for release.

The snippets definitely look unique, and we're really curious to see the rest of these images if Weihs is up for posting them. (Please?)

So what the heck are these? Honestly, it's hard to tell. The elephant-esque pic seems to be a tight shot of an Engineer in a Space Jockey suit, but there's something downright creepy about that eye.

As for the other one, that's a little harder to tell. But still weirdly awesome.
