Watch a funny trailer for Lord of the Rings reimagined with LEGOs

LEGOs have come a long way. They're not just toy blocks anymore. The company's latest venture tackles two things we love: videogames and Lord of the Rings. For Gamescom 2012, they've released a new trailer that takes us on an epic yet hilarious journey.

LEGO Lord of the Rings: The Video Game is based on the Peter Jackson film trilogy. Judging from the trailer, the game is eerily accurate. There's even an Ian McKellen knockoff narrating the events. The folks at LEGO left no block unturned.

They made sure to include Aragorn, Legolas, Galadriel, Gollum, Frodo and many more. LEGO Lord of the Rings: The Video Game will be available on PS3, Xbox 360, PC, PS Vita, Wii, Nintendo DS and Nintendo 3DS. It's scheduled for release on Oct. 26.
