New int'l trailer reveals more of Looper's dark, twisted future

A new international trailer for the timey-wimey noir flick Looper has been released, showing off a bit more of the dark future and the action style that director Rian Johnson is using to frame his time-traveling mob tale.

The film stars Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Bruce Willis as the same man from different times. The younger version is tasked with killing his older self when the Willis version is sent back in time to be killed. A bit confusing? Yes, but it sounds awesome.

The English-language trailer is a cut for the French market, and is really the most action-packed set of scenes we've seen to this point. Also, we learn a slightly spoilery detail about Emily Blunt's character (just watch and you'll see what I'm referring to).

Check out the trailer below, and hopefully it can tide you over until the film opens Sept. 28.

What do you think of this trailer? Are you digging the action style?
