Latest Hobbit trailer shows off a bit more Gandalf/Bilbo footage

Now that we know Peter Jackson is (apparently) making a Hobbit trilogy, a new trailer has been released for first installment An Unexpected Journey, showing off a bit more of Bilbo on the run from who knows what.

The trailer is pretty similar to the one we saw a while back, but does show off some snippets of new footage, including a bit more of Mirkwood forest, as well as some more interaction between Gandalf and Bilbo.

The Lord of the Rings prequel definitely looks the part, and we're really digging the peeks and nods to the overall tale.

An Unexpected Journey is slated for release this December, and the two sequels are expected to roll out at about the same time in 2013 and 2014.

Check out the new trailer below.

What do you think about the decision to make the film into a trilogy? Can you ever have too much Middle-earth?
