Guy's amazing homemade Game of Thrones board game you'll wish was yours

George R.R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire has been a well-regarded fantasy series of novels for years, but it wasn't until Game of Thrones made its way to television that it became the marketable juggernaut it is today. There are posters, magnets, bookmarks, card games and board games. That last one, in particular, got a homemade upgrade that has to be seen to be believed.

A gamer—let's call him Matt B. (because that's his name)—saw that there was a Game of Thrones board game and thought "Cool, but I think it could be better," and then commissioned one of the best-looking board games ever.

Hand-carved wood, hand-made bags, hand-made ... everything, really. It looks like it could actually be in the world of Game of Thrones. And isn't that what a board game should be at its essence—a gateway to another world?
