Artist's moody portraits of Dark Knight + 10 more Bat characters

Steel yourself for some electrifying fan art of Batman, Alfred and nine notorious DC supervillains. Reminiscent of black-light posters of the '70s, the series of minimalist drawings of iconic friends and foes is a delirious distraction. Bring it on!

These dark portraits by Mexican illustrator Eduardo Trujillo pulse with primal fear, capturing each comic character's menacing thoughts and twisted dreams in bold, stark strokes.

It's hard to pick a favorite from this streaked collection of Bats and his butler, Bane, the Scarecrow, the Riddler, Mr. Freeze, Poison Ivy, Harley Quinn, Catwoman, the Joker and Two-Face. Each raw image is created digitally and rendered against a black background, etched in vivid hues mirroring the murky moral realms they inhabit. Like 'em?
