The Batcave has always been a mysterious den of solitude, with sinister stalactites, gorgeous gadgets and strange trophies like the monster Lincoln penny and T-Rex statue. Mondo's latest Batman poster pays tribute to the epic size and scope of the Caped Crusader's private lair and places his still silhouette alone in the darkness, bathed by a faint light. Background details reveal assorted Bat vehicles, Joker playing card, Jason Todd memorial and sidesteps leading up to salvation. Have a look ...

Mondo will release the poster, created by artist JC Richard, on Thursday, Aug. 30.
It's 20" x 29", printed on high-quality archival paper and limited to just 500 pieces. Cost for this somber beauty is $50 each. Follow @MondoNews on Twitter for exact sale time.
