Ever since the first brass bells were installed in the New York Stock Exchange in 1903, the ringing of the bell to signal the opening and closing of daily trading has been one of the iconic sounds of Wall Street. Somewhere along the way, celebrities got in on the ceremonial act, and that means a few sci-fi stars have made it to the trading floor, too.

From Avengers to Smurfs, Spider-Man to Minions, here are 18 sci-fi, fantasy and horror stars, ranging from the iconic to the weird, who got to step up to the bell and ring in the trading day.
