Hugh Jackman's got himself a whole new hairdo in 4 Wolverine pics

If there's one trademark that Wolverine sports better than any other superhero out there—well, other than the Adamantium claws—it's the hair. We mean, the guy has one of the weirdest hairdos in the whole Marvel universe!

And through three X-Men films and (to a much lesser extent) X-Men Origins: Wolverine, actor Hugh Jackman's hair has closely matched his comic book counterpart's. (Though, admittedly, Wolvie's hair got a lot better and looked way more natural in Origins.)

Some new pictures of the actor have surfaced from Australia, where Jackman's currently busy filming The Wolverine at Bonna Point Reserve in Sutherland Shire, where they are re-creating a Japanese prisoner-of-war camp.

The first two pics come via The Leader, where Jackman was on hand with Sutherland Shire's mayor Carol Provan, while the last two were posted over at Latino Review and show our boy Logan in action in the POW camp.

Have a look at Hugh Jackman's much shorter and gelled hair in the gallery below, and let us know what you think of Jackman's spanking new 'do (and glorious physique)?

The Wolverine is directed by James Mangold and should hit theaters on July 26, 2013.
