Bryan Singer teases his 'very cool' new Battlestar Galactica movie

We haven't heard much about Bryan Singer's planned Battlestar Galactica film since it was was announced way back when; and the last we heard was that screenwriter John Orloff had been brought on board. Until now.

Bryan Singer spoke a little bit about his planned reboot of the sci-fi franchise to IGN, and though he doesn't reveal too much about his big-screen version of Battlestar Galactica, he had these very interesting tidbits to share with us.

"I have a script that's in revisions right now, and it's very cool," Bryan Singer said about the John Orloff script.

About whether the new story will take place in the world of the 1978-1980 (remember, there was that not-so-good Galactica 1980 series right after the original) Glen Larson classic TV series or in the world of Ron Moore's 2004-2009 rebooted series, Singer said:

"It will exist, I think, quite well between the Glen Larson and Ron Moore universes, but that's all I want to say about it," Singer said. "But it's evolving quite well, and quite recently. I've been developing this for a while, and certain things came to fruition recently, and I hope to do it."

We don't know about you guys, but in Bryan Singer we trust.
