1st clip from Raimi's The Possession will make your skin crawl

The first tense clip from Sam Raimi's new horror flick The Possession has been released—showing young Natasha Calis just as the possession is about to begin.

The quiet, creepy clip shows Calis standing in front of the bathroom mirror, trying to figure what the weird feeling is coming from her throat. Turns out, there's something really freaky trying to get out.

Here's the official plot synopsis:

Clyde (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) and Stephanie Brenek (Kyra Sedgwick) see little cause for alarm when their youngest daughter Em becomes oddly obsessed with an antique wooden box she purchased at a yard sale. But as Em's (Natasha Calis) behavior becomes increasingly erratic, the couple fears the presence of a malevolent force in their midst, only to discover that the box was built to contain a dibbuk, a dislocated spirit that inhabits and ultimately devours its human host.
With Sam Raimi (Evil Dead, Drag Me to Hell) producing, and Ole Bornedal directing, this could be an under-the-radar horror gem when it opens Aug. 31.

Are you tired of possession-based flicks, or is there room for one more with Raimi involved?
