TV THIS WEEK: Warehouse 13 and Alphas return, Who marathon + more

Syfy's big summer premieres kick off with Warehouse 13 trying to save the world (and the warehouse) and Alphas trying to save their teammates as the shows take over Powerful Mondays. Meanwhile, True Blood winds itself up even more (as if that were possible) and Falling Skies takes a week off.

Also this week, a full moon causes trouble for the shape-shifters on Teen Wolf, Team Truth goes UFO hunting on Destination Truth, Hell Hounds stalk the investigators on Haunted Highway, Hermes begins to replace his body parts with robot parts on Futurama, a Las Vegas casino has a haunting on Haunted Collector, Alex and Dawn wrestle over Charlie's power of attorney on Saving Hope, Ryan has girl trouble and dog trouble on Wilfred, Bo hunts for some missing backpackers on Lost Girl, Doctor Who has a marathon, and Syfy revives The Philadelphia Experiment.

Monday, July 23



Warehouse 13 (Syfy) 9 p.m. - "A New Hope"

Season-four premiere! Picking up immediately after last season's cliffhanger that left Steve, Mrs. Frederic and H.G. dead and the warehouse blown up, the team races into action, traveling across the globe to find an obscure and dangerous artifact.

Alphas (Syfy) 10 p.m. - "Wake Up Call"

Season-two premiere! Months after the shocking events that took down Red Flag leaders and Dr. Rosen's dramatic revelation to the world that Alphas exist, the team has split apart. However, when two members of the team are taken hostage, they must join forces to save the lives of their friends.

Teen Wolf (MTV) 10 p.m. - "Party Guessed"

A full moon is coming, and it looks like it's going to be a rough one. With the kanima still on the loose, whoever's controlling it still on the loose, the battle between Derrick's pack and the werewolf hunters, and what happened to Allison's mom, the temperature is rising in Teen Wolf land. Luckily, it's time for Lydia's birthday party.

Destination Truth (Syfy) 9 p.m. - "Alien Invaders; Swedish Lake Monster"

Team Truth travels to the forests of Kazakhstan for a UFO hunt, and then it's off to Sweden to search for a lake creature.

Haunted Highway (Syfy) 10 p.m. - "El Dorado Hell Hounds; Georgia Skinstealer"

This week's investigations take the teams to Nevada to investigate reports of spectral dogs and to Georgia to seek out a demon.

Futurama (Comedy Central) 10 p.m. - "The Six Million Dollar Mon"

When Hermes decides he's inferior to machines, he begins doing physical upgrades by replacing his body parts with robot parts.

The team digs into items that may be haunting a Las Vegas casino and a family's compound in Glendora, Calif.

Doctor Who Marathon (BBC America) 6 a.m.

It's a marathon of Matt Smith's first season as the Doctor, along with the introduction of Amy and Rory, beginning with "The Eleventh Hour." Luckily, the Doctor has an entire 20 minutes to save the world. No doubt this is all to gear us up to the seventh season, which premieres this fall.

The Philadelphia Experiment (Syfy) 9 p.m.

This week's Syfy Saturday Night at the Movies flick is about the World War II-era experiment, which is revived with destructive results when the warship that vanished way back when returns to wreak havoc. Luckily, the sole survivor of the experiment and his granddaughter are around to stop the havoc-wreaking. The film stars Nicholas Lea, Malcolm McDowell, Michael Paré, Gina Holden and Sanctuary's Ryan Robbins and Emilie Ullerup.

The Nerdist (BBC America) 9 p.m. - "Comic-Con" and "Tribute to Toys and Games"

It's time to embrace your inner nerd as the biggest nerds on British television offer up a double dose of Chris Hardwick and the Nerdist crew with a look at Comic-Con, and then it's off to the wonderful world of toys and games.
