'They are coming' in 1st tantalizing look at Fringe's 5th season

With Comic-Con just a few weeks away, Fox is trying to build some buzz for the final season of Fringe. If we had any question as to what season five is about, we know now—and it looks like war is coming.

I don't know what you see in the new teaser poster, but to us, it looks like a boatload of Observers popping up.

The series' 13-episode final season will focus on the Fringe team's battle with the Observers, who finally decide to come back in time and take over the world as we know it. We already know we'll be heading to the Observer-occupied era of 2036, but producer J.H. Wyman wasn't offering any more clues in a chat with Entertainment Weekly:

"If I give you any spoilers, it will just force me to go back in time and prevent myself from answering this question. So if you wouldn't mind, I should probably save us all the trouble and the potential paradoxes."

Season five returns on Sept. 28. Check out the new poster below.
