You can listen to the complete Dark Knight Rises soundtrack NOW

We're still a week and a half away from feasting our eyes on Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight Rises, but now we can at least feast our ears on Hans Zimmer's score for the final film in the Dark Knight trilogy.

As part of a buildup to the opening on July 20, the studio has released the full score onlne via Empire, and it's definitely an epic piece of work that sounds even more amazing than his work for The Dark Knight.

Here's how Zimmer described the score in a statement accompanying the release:

"I thought after we finished the last one [The Dark Knight], that was it. There was nothing else we could possibly do. At the same time, when I started reading this script, I instantly knew that there was a whole world out there that I hadn't even touched yet ... We're comrades in arms, the way we try to cheer each other on and try to really do the best work we possibly can. And part of that is you have to be prepared to not hold back. You have to put everything into the movie."
