3 exciting new Looper pics give 1st good look at sexy Piper Perabo

The time-travel hitman tale Looper looks to be one of the more interesting sci-fi flicks coming out this year, and some new pics show off castmembers Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Jeff Daniels and Paul Dano—plus gives us our first good look at Piper Parabo in her sexy, secret role.

The film follows Gordon-Levitt as the younger version of Bruce Willis, who is tasked with killing his older self thanks to an assassination time machine. Yes, that sounds both crazy and awesome.

Perabo's role has been kept under wraps until now, but judging by the photo we can at least get a guess at her occupation.

Director Rian Johnson told The Playlist he wants Looper to be a rollicking, easy-to-follow good time for viewers, and judging by the new pics it definitely looks like a lot of fun:

"One of my big priorities in writing the script was to make sure that it didn't feel dense, it didn't feel like homework. I put a lot of shoe leather into going over the script, and making sure the story worked, and ticked, without the sci-fi elements complicating it too much. Making sure the time travel did its job and got out of the way. So hopefully at the end of it, it makes sense, you don't have to think about it too deeply."
Check out the new pics below, which will have to tide us over until the Sept. 28 opening date:
