Duck or die: See gory slow-mo shootout in new NSFW Dredd clip

We glimpsed a brutally awesome slow-motion shootout in the first trailer for Dredd, and now a bloody new clip shows off even more of that drug bust gone gory.

The clip was released along with the Comic-Con screening of the film (which was a hit with critics) and shows off more of the gritty, visual flair the creators are gunning for this time around.

Check out the clip below, and see Judge Dredd (Karl Urban) and Judge Anderson (Olivia Thirlby) bust in on some druggies.

Oh, and FYI—it's pretty brutal.

We still have a few months until the Sept. 20 opening date, so here's the official synopsis if you need a primer:

Dredd takes place on a fictional Earth created as a result of the Atomic Wars. Survivors of this period are living in Mega-Cities, which protects its citizens from the Cursed Earth, a radioactive desert environment populated by mutants. The main story takes place in Mega-City One, where the police who are now called judges have the power to use police brutality to some extent to fight extreme murders. One man, Judge Dredd (Karl Urban), a senior law enforcement officer, teams up with a cadet called Judge Anderson (Olivia Thirlby) to track down a terrorist organization lead by Ma-Ma (Lena Headey), who is responsible for selling a reality-altering drug called Slo-Mo.
What did you think of the clip? Do you like the new-look Judge Dredd?
