Concept art shows Spidey and the Lizard were almost very different

When the team behind The Amazing Spider-Man opted for a reboot instead of a fourth installment in Sam Raimi's trilogy, you just knew they had to be looking at some wild ideas to give it a different look—and now we have some early concept art that shows off some of the cool designs they had in mind.

Some of the Spider-Man costume designs are pretty radical when compared to the more traditional garb seen in Tobey Maguire's version of Spidey, and the raptor-like Lizard is very different from the final design.

The concept art comes courtesy of the Aaron Sims Company, and it's interesting to see the suits Andrew Garfield could've been sporting this week.
