Check out the golden new armor Stark'll be wearing in Iron Man 3

Tony Stark's been a busy guy. He helped save the world in The Avengers, then went right back and started working on a brand-new incarnation of the Iron Man armor. We'll get to see it in action when Iron Man 3 hits theaters, but for now, take a look at Iron Man Mark VIII direct from the San Diego Comic-Con floor.

The new armor hit the Comic-Con exhibit floor Saturday against a backdrop of all seven previous incarnations of the suit. Word is those lucky enough to get into the Marvel panel in Hall H later today will get more peeks at the next Iron Man flick (and other things), but in case you didn't notice, there's a bit of a line.

Still, that doesn't stop us from gawking at the suit here and now. Here's a close-up that reveals just how much red got sacrificed for gold this time around.
