Most everything we've seen from The Dark Knight Rises to this point has shown off the drama and action we can expect from Christopher Nolan's final Batman flick—but a new trailer shows off the lighter side of Bruce Wayne.

The latest bit of new footage is actually pretty funny, and has Gotham's former playboy (Christian Bale) going in for a checkup to determine his physical condition. Turns out, all those years of crime fighting have really taken a toll.

It's actually a pretty interesting angle, and you have to wonder if just sheer force of will can make up for two busted knees and a near-broken body.
