X-Men star wants 'sexy green-haired girl' love in 1st Class sequel

We don't know exactly where the sequel to X-Men: First Class is headed yet (though we have heard rumors), but at least one member of the cast has a very specific idea of where his character should go. He wants to fall in love with one of Marvel Comics' most iconic mutants.

Lucas Till, who played Alex Summers/Havok in the 2011 superhero flick, doesn't seem to know much more than we do about what'll happen for this particular bunch of X-Men the second time out. But he does know that he wants Havok's longtime comic book girlfriend Lorna Dane, aka Polaris, to make an appearance.

"I want Polaris in there. I want a sexy green-haired girl to fall in love with," he said. "That's all I'm asking for."

Polaris predates Havok in comic book history by nearly a year. Introduced in October of 1968, she's known for her ability to control magnetism. And that's not a coincidence. She's also been revealed in the comics to be Magneto's biological daughter, which would add a whole new dimension to the Master of Magnetism's movie backstory.

That's a lot for the flick to take on, but Till has one other, slightly simpler request to go along with asking for a girlfriend. Namely that he'd like Havok's powers to look better this time around.

"I don't know if you saw, but Havok shoots hula hoops out of his body. I remember when [director Matthew Vaughn] told me, and I was like, 'NOOOO!' It's going to ruin it for all the fans of Havok," he said. "I tried to make the best of it, but I really hope in the next one that the chest piece -- because there's always that circle in the middle so you could tell where his power level was at -- but not necessarily used as a device to channel the energy from. I want some gauntlets or something to shoot it out of my hands."

What do you think? Is it time for the Havok/Polaris love story to hit the big screen? And should Havok get a more traditional delivery system for his powers?
