Peter (not Spidey) dives off a roof in latest Spider-Man trailer

A new trailer for Marc Webb's The Amazing Spider-Man has hit the Internet, showing off a bit of new footage and a bit of additional insight into Peter Parker's (Andrew Garfield) learning curve when he's putting together his Spidey gadgets.

The action looks top-notch, and we get a bit of new footage showing Peter Parker falling off a roof—possibly when he's just figuring out how to use his webslingers—and swinging off into the sunset.

This latest trailer has a good mix of new footage, along with some of what we've seen before, and it strikes a good balance between story and action.

The Amazing Spider-Man stars Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Rhys Ifans, Denis Leary, Martin Sheen and Sally Field.

The flick opens July 3.
