Channing Tatum confused as us about GI Joe: Retaliation delay

The whole delay and reshoot ordeal surrounding G.I. Joe: Retaliation just keeps getting weirder and weirder. Now co-star Channing Tatum has chimed in on the mess, and he seems just as confused as the rest of the world.

The film was coming out June 29, but it's now been bumped all the way to March 29, 2013. We've heard that they want to convert the flick to 3D, plus add in some more Channing Tatum (he apparently bit the dust early in the original cut).

In a new interview with MTV, Tatum said he hasn't heard much from the studio since shooting his initial scenes and was as surprised as everyone else when the lengthy delay was announced.

"I don't know. Truly. I haven't seen the movie. I did my part and then all this stuff is going on, so they haven't come to talk to me about anything. They talk about a lot of stuff; who knows if it's the industry or the actual studio? You never know."

Here's Tatum explaining it (or not) himself:

Sound off: We're you chomping at the bit for 3D, and more Channing Tatum?
