Want some Spidey spoilers? Check out these amazing toy battle sets

Some new details have come out about a few key scenes in The Amazing Spider-Man from the unlikeliest of sources: Toys 'R Us, via some promotional Mega Blocks Spidey sets. So what do we learn?

A fair bit, actually.

Of course, some of these details could have been lost in translation to create the toys, but the amount of detail shows that there is at least some crossover between the promo side here and the actual film.

One set shows off an underground lab, which is apparently being used by Dr. Curt Connors (Rhys Ifans) as he fights the transformation to become the Lizard. Here are the pertinent bits:

"Discover the Lizard's secret Lab hidden deep in the sewers under the city with the Sewer Lab Headquarters by Mega Bloks! Doctor Connors fights his slow transformation into the terrifying creature known as The Lizard by setting up his own secret laboratory under the city to test new cures for his condition."
Another Mega Blocks package, set atop the Oscorp building, spills about an apparent battle between Spidey and The Lizard that involves a crane:
"Recreate the incredible Oscorp Tower fight scene between Spider-Man and the Lizard with the Oscorp Tower Battle by Mega Bloks! Swing into action with Spider-Man as he uses the crane to catch The Lizard and his S.W.A.T. lizard-brother on the top of the Oscorp Tower!"
Now, no telling if the Lizard S.W.A.T. team member was added for the toys or a twist in the movie with a S.W.A.T. agent exposed, but it's still fun to guess.

The Amazing Spider-Man opens July 3.
