TV THIS WEEK: Vampire Diaries heats up, Treasure Island and more!

With the previews below all counting down to the end of your favorite show's season (there's only one, two, three or four episodes left!), it looks like the schedule is filled with thrills and chills as the various shows race toward their climaxes. And we'll get Syfy's Treasure Island and PBS's oh-so-short second season of Sherlock.

Also this week, Beverly Barlowe tries to help the Astraeus crew on Eureka, Bo goes up against the new Ash on Lost Girl, Castle thinks a zombie might be the killer on Castle, TAPS investigates the USS Yorktown on Ghost Hunters, Howard's wedding gets postponed on The Big Bang Theory, Klaus faces a new enemy on The Vampire Diaries, it's prom time on The Secret Circle, Martin follows the numbers on Touch, Reese goes rogue on Person of Interest, answers are promised on Fringe, Grimm takes on Cinderella, Castiel wakes up on Supernatural, it's Snow-White-and-the-apple time on Once Upon a Time, and Daenerys attempts a journey on Game of Thrones.

Eureka (Syfy) 9 p.m. - "Force Quit"

The events of last week's sad episode lead to Beverly Barlowe's return to Eureka, where a desperate plan is hatched to save the Astraeus crew in the real and virtual worlds. How do you feel about the turn of events in this final season so far?

The Big Bang Theory (CBS) 8 p.m. - "The Launch Acceleration"

When Howard's mission is rescheduled, his wedding is put on hold. Meanwhile, Penny is shocked by something Leonard says in the bedroom.

The Vampire Diaries (The CW) 8 p.m. - "Before Sunset"

With a new mutual enemy on the hunt, it looks like Klaus and the other Originals are going to have to join forces with Stefan and Damon to ensure the survival of the vampire race. But don't you think that Elena and the few non-vamps left in Mystic Falls would be better off if Klaus's mom succeeds in her quest to rid the world of vampires?

The Secret Circle (The CW) 9 p.m. - "Prom"

With deception, death and magic swirling around the Circle, it must be time for ... prom. Yes, it's prom time, and it looks like Cassie and the gang will at least look fetching while battling the witch hunters and discovering that Blackwell quite possibly doesn't have their best interests at heart.

Touch (Fox) 9 p.m. - "Zone of Exclusion"

Martin follows the numbers once again. This time the dominoes lead to a French woman, who reconnects with her biological mother and her twin sister, and an Italian woman whose astronaut husband loses contact with Earth.

A woman on the run from her dangerous husband leads Reese to go rogue.

Fringe (Fox) 9 p.m. - "Brave New World"

Part one of the two-part season finale! Promising "the answers you've been waiting for" and "shocking surprises you will never see coming," get ready for one bumpy ride as the team deals with cases of spontaneous human combustion and battles David Robert Jones to save two universes. Good news, Fringe fans! Fox has ordered a final season of Fringe for next year.

Grimm (NBC) 9 p.m. - "Happily Ever Aftermath"

It looks like it's Cinderella a la Grimm. Nick and Hank delve into the murder of a wealthy matriarch, who just happens to have a stepdaughter. Meanwhile, Juliette digs into the deaths of Nick's parents.

Supernatural (The CW) 9 p.m. - "Reading Is Fundamental"

Castiel wakes up from his coma. Meanwhile, Sam and Dean discover a teenage prophet who may be the key to stopping the Leviathans.

Syfy's one night, four-hour movie event! Featuring a star-studded cast with Elijah Wood, Donald Sutherland and Eddie Izzard as Long John Silver, Syfy takes on Robert Louis Stevenson's classic coming-of-age tale about pirates, courage and greed.

Once Upon a Time (ABC) 8 p.m. - "An Apple Red as Blood"

Henry tries to keep Emma in Storybrooke, but Regina plots to rid the town of her. Meanwhile, in the fairy-tale world, Snow White takes a bite of that infamous apple.

Game of Thrones (HBO) 9 p.m. - "The Old Gods and the New"

Daenerys decides to take on an arduous quest. Meanwhile, Arya gets a visitor and Robb and Catelyn receive important news.

Masterpiece Mystery! (PBS) 9 p.m. - "Sherlock: A Scandal in Belgravia"

Season-two premieres! We finally get another trio of episodes with Benedict Cumberbatch's outstanding incarnation of Sherlock Holmes. First up, Sherlock and Watson take on a case involving a British royal who's involved in a scandal with a dominatrix, and somehow that leads to CIA agents, international terrorism and romance. Meanwhile, Sherlock gains notoriety thanks to Watson's blog. Still, what I really want to see is the conclusion to the season-one finale cliffhanger.
