The Amazing Spider-Man viral promotional campaign has been leaking out random Peter Parker tidbits for months, but the latest bit might be the coolest: the specs for Spidey's webslingers.
Obviously, you'll probably still need some engineering knowledge (and a Spidey Sense) to put it all together, but it is neat to see the attention to detail the creators are taking with the reboot.
One thing director Marc Webb has said is that he plans to stay a little closer to the comic canon (in some respects), and the mechanics behind Spider-Man's webslinging abilities were always a bone of contention for fans in Sam Raimi's recent film trilogy.
These shots show how Peter Parker uses his brainy know-how to construct the slingers, and they don't just magically grow into his wrists, a la Raimi's adaptation.
The Amazing Spider-Man opens on July 3.
